Parent's Night Out, Kid's Movie Night
Parents, take the night off with the Recreation Department’s popular “Parent’s Night Out, Kids Movie Night” program!
Whether you need a date night or a quiet night on the couch, bring your little ones by the Recreation Department for a movie! Our awesome staff will keep your little ones entertained with a variety of games, crafts, snacks, and a movie! For added fun, we encourage participants to dress up for the evening’s theme (based on the movie).
The program is hosted every second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Friday of the month (dates may vary due to holidays, please see the flyer below for upcoming event dates). Juice and popcorn are provided to participants. Participants may also bring a boxed dinner if desired.

Recreation Department Open House Event
The Ojai Recreation Department’s Annual Open House is right around the corner!! Join us for a fun-filled day on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Road.
The FREE community event will showcase many of the department’s offerings and include program demonstrations. Instructors will also be on-site to answer questions about their respective programs and staff can assist with summer registrations.
Activities will include informational booths, raffle giveaways, 5-A-Side awards, food trucks, game room play, an obstacle course, trolley rides, face painting for the little ones, and so much more.
